This Art Print is a print of a painting of Assam which we did as a part of series 'Spirit of India'

Assam is indeed one of the most gorgeous states. It has beautiful hills, tea farms, forests and what not! The traditional houses are absolutely eco friendly and make use of locally available materials like Bamboos, Ikra, wood, thatch etc. The Assamese cuisine is also as much diverse! I have painted Til Pitha with Til Laroos. Til Pitha has two major ingredients, rice flour and black sesame seeds.This traditional Assamese dish is prepared around special occasions and major festivals like Bihu. The painting will be absolutely incomplete without the traditional Gamosa. 😍
