When we have such a fast paced city life, what we miss the most is the calm in the countryside.

I visited this beautiful meadow when I was in Satara (my maternal uncle’s place) a couple of years ago. Satara city is surrounded by so many amazing mountains. This meadow was just a few mins away from the city.

The beautiful green carpet and magenta flowers inspired me to make this painting. 💕

This is done on a stretched canvas so it is ready to hang.
